Please please pleasee read this note if you intend to purchase Side Shields for older V2 Classic or Leggero Ombraz (ordered before ~July 2022).

Not sure what version you have?

It's easy to find out. Look at the nose pads on your Ombraz. If your nose pads are the same color as the rest of the frame, your Ombraz are V3’s and are seamlessly, perfectly compatible with the side shields. If your nose pads have clear/translucent tips, you’ve got V2’s. The side shields will work with your pair, but the fit might not be absolutely, fit like a glove, perfect. We tried to develop a workaround, to no avail.

The reason being - V2 Acetate Ombraz were hand-carved, which makes each pair incredibly special, but created small variances in each frame, and larger differences across every production run. These variances made it impossible to develop a perfect ‘one-size fits all’ side shield. In July 2022, we transitioned to a more durable frame material to create consistency across each production run - enabling a seamless side shield fit for all V3 Ombraz.
