Please please please read this note if you intend to purchase Side Shields for your Dolomites!

The Dolomite Side Shields are only compatible with our new V3 Dolomites. If you bought a pair of Dolomites before May 2022, you likely have a V2 acetate model (the frame material we used before we transitioned to our V3 material).

Checking to see what version your Dolomites are is easy. Look at the nose pads. If your nose pads are the same color as the rest of the frame, your Dolomites are compatible with the side shields. If your nose pads have clear/translucent tips, you’ve got V2s, and unfortunately, the side shields will not work with your pair.

It’s a bummer and we are pretty gutted about it. We tried to develop a workaround, to no avail. The reason being - V2 Dolomites were hand-carved, which makes each pair incredibly special, but created small variances in each frame, and larger differences across every production run. These variances made it impossible to develop a ‘one-size fits all’ side shield. In May 2022, we transitioned to a more durable frame material to create consistency across each production run - enabling a seamless side shield fit for all V3 Dolomites, both Regular and XL.
